Initially created as a gift for friends and family, the collaboration between KITH and Nike Air Force 1, can be achieved through a raffle. Limited to only 100 pairs, the style was originally given to personal friends of founder Ronnie Fieg and others in KITH’s circle. There were never any plans for a public launch, but because of the consequences of COVID-19, five KITH employees have chosen to give up their personal pairs and donate them to the benefit of DirectRelief (COVID-19 response fund).
First introduced by Fieg himself in November 2019, the AF1 combines classic New York styling with a dose of preppy nautical flair. The upper is made of white leather and accented by a navy blue collar, red tabs and green mini Swooshes complete the model completing the model that bears the KITH box logo engraved on each Swoosh repetitively.
The draw for each of the five pairs will take place on the KITH web store between May 14-17.
