Sasha Balla is a 22 year old self taught ukrainian artist – currently based out of Toronto, Canada. Primary medium is coloured pencils and charcoal on toned paper. She started teaching herself during covid as a way to pass time which quickly turned into a full time hobby and passion. Through her art, Sasha depicts the interactions and parallels between nature, humans and objects – often rendering feelings of what doesn’t belong. By placing man made object in natural setting she tries to create feelings of discomfort and mystery that speaks to the soul as much as the mind.
