A couple of weeks ago it was LimeWire that announced its respawn as an NFT marketplace. Now another nostalgic name, that most people haven’t mentioned for a long, long time, is making a comeback. It is the beloved media player Winamp, which if you were young in the 90s, you most definitely listened to your favorite tunes on. The plan is to sell the iconic skin as a 1/1 NFT, where the funds from the sale will go to the Winamp Foundation, which will allocate the funds to charitable projects that supports musicians and music.
The Winamp NFT auction will be held on OpenSea from May 16 to 22.
