Spanning products, films, and cultural experiences, the unexpected alliance kicks off with a fan-designed recreation of the legendary 2007 ‘Alive’ pyramid stage.
When toy bricks and robotic French house royalty collide, pop-cultural folklore reaches a fever pitch. LEGO and Daft Punk have officially announced a sprawling, long-term creative partnership bridging music, design, and experimental world-building.
The multi-year alliance launches with an official product translation of Luxembourg-based fan creator Patrick Harboun’s award-winning LEGO Ideas concept: a meticulously detailed miniature model of the luminous, geometric stage from Daft Punk’s historic 2007 Alive tour. The announcement was heralded by a cinematic short film starring LEGO minifigures journeying through a surreal, speaker-studded soundscape soundtracked by Discovery era cuts.
With further products, immersive content, and physical cultural experiences slated to roll out through 2027, the collaboration proves that the enduring legacy of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo can find a home anywhere imagination—and interlocking ABS plastic—takes flight.
