Inspired by the boundless realms of science fiction, Nigo envisions a wardrobe fit for an inhabitant of a distant galaxy, where the boundaries between the earthly and the extraterrestrial blur.
The campaign’s visual narrative is masterfully crafted by Canary Islands-born photographer Lengua, who paints a surreal landscape where the rugged coastline meets the vast expanse of the night sky. Amidst this otherworldly panorama, a diverse ensemble of models showcases Nigo’s visionary designs, each piece a testament to the harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics.
Nigo’s sartorial creations for KENZO embody the essence of a galactic traveler, seamlessly blending traditional elements with futuristic concepts. Pleated soleil dresses, reminiscent of ancient civilizations, stand in stark contrast to cargo flight pants and metallic sequin bodysuits, hinting at a future where exploration and innovation reign supreme.
