Back in June, Danish fashion visionary Cecilie Bahnsen made her debut collaboration with ASICS, and it proved to be an astounding triumph. Her Mary Jane-style sneakers, available in two captivating hues, vanished from shelves in the blink of an eye. Now, Cecilie Bahnsen is back with a fresh release.
Bahnsen’s second ASICS GT-2160 collaboration is a tribute to the Japanese culture that consistently serves as her muse for “everyday fashion statements.” She extends the boundaries of her delicate design ethos, harmoniously merging it with ASICS’ forward-looking framework. The moonlit campaign was impeccably captured by the Japanese photographer, Takashi Homma.
These sneakers exhibit a familiar Mary Jane silhouette in dope pink and blue color pallets . The blue rendition features floral embellishments on the elastic closure, complemented by sky-blue accents against a subtle gray backdrop. As for the rose-tinted counterpart, it showcases a white backdrop adorned with vibrant red and orange accents, complete with laces, securing ribbons, and floral motifs that grace the entire silhouette.
The Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GT-2160, will be released November 15, on the Cecilie Bahnsen website, as well as select retailers on November 22.
