ASICS has unveiled an upgraded and avant-garde rendition of the GEL-KAHANA TR V2, aptly named the “MOON PACK” limited edition. This exclusive collection introduces the silhouette in two distinct shades, one illuminated and the other subdued, evoking a potential homage to the contrasting facets of the lunar landscape.
The sneakers showcase utilitarian-inspired external lacing systems that serve to enhance both support and aesthetics. This innovative configuration integrates a primary set of laces, elegantly threading through metal eyelets and securing atop with metallic hooks. A secondary lacing mechanism contributes additional steadiness, originating from the toe and traversing the entire upper, ultimately fastening at the heel through an adaptable closure.
Both iterations of the shoes predominantly feature monochromatic mesh and resilient rubberized ripstop overlays. The lighter variant boasts semi-translucent ASICS stripe logos, adding a touch of contemporary allure to the design.
While not yet officially confirmed, prevailing indications suggest that the “MOON PACK” collection will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Enthusiasts can anticipate its release from August 12 onwards, exclusively through ASICS, with a retail price of $110 USD.
