adidas Originals and Avavav are back with a subversive second drop that throws the rulebook out the window. Unveiled in Milan, this new collaboration warps the language of classic sportswear, injecting it with satirical drama, fashion absurdism, and a kind of post-apocalyptic elegance.
The capsule collection is pure Avavav chaos: think oversized silhouettes, distressed textures, and garments that look like they’ve survived a fashion freak storm—ripped sweatshirts, ballooning pants, and mutated sports vests. Each piece is a weird, wonderful mutation, toeing the line between performance wear and performance art. It’s less about functionality, more about fashion as disruption.
On the footwear front, things get even freakier. The Moonrubber Megaride and a melted-looking Superstar reinterpretation push anatomical distortion into wild new territory. They’re not just shoes—they’re statements, shaped by the idea that nothing sacred stays untouched in this universe of twisted sportswear.
This is sportswear sabotage—with a wink. And as usual, Avavav brings the weirdness we didn’t know we needed.
