Pharrell and adidas Go Electric with the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Blue” Drop in Las Vegas

by OS Staff October 27, 2025
    written by OS Staff

Pharrell Williams and adidas are turning up the volume once again with a new iteration of the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish, unveiled in a deep, hyper-saturated “Blue” hue. Available exclusively at the adidas Brand Center in Las Vegas, the release cements the model’s status as one of the most coveted lifestyle sneakers of 2025, carrying its $300 USD price tag into a new color chapter.

First seen during Paris Fashion Week, the Adistar Jellyfish quickly became a cultural lightning rod—celebrated for its oversized silhouette, fluid geometry, and avant-garde construction that blurred the line between fashion object and performance gear. Its earlier three colorways—each now highly sought-after on the resale market—introduced the sneaker’s alien-like identity to the streetwear world. The latest “Blue” edition amplifies that DNA, reimagining its translucent layers and bold sculptural shape through a tone that feels both futuristic and elemental.

To launch the drop, Pharrell enlisted Clipse, the legendary hip-hop duo, to headline the campaign. Driving a custom adidas VIRGINIA delivery truck through Las Vegas, they turned the rollout into a city-wide performance—part sneaker release, part cultural spectacle.

More than a color update, the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Blue” reinforces Pharrell’s ongoing vision for adidas: a universe where art, design, and movement collapse into one. It’s not just a shoe—it’s a statement of intent, a symbol of how Pharrell’s experimental design language continues to push the Three Stripes brand beyond fashion and into the realm of modern iconography.
