A new collaboration between iconic Japanese streetwear label BAPE and the Van Gogh Museum reimagines the work of one of history’s most influential artists through the lens of contemporary fashion. The capsule fuses BAPE’s bold, instantly recognizable graphic language with several of Vincent van Gogh’s most iconic paintings, resulting in a limited-edition collection that bridges art history and street culture.

Key pieces include Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with a Gray Felt HatSunflowers, and Wheatfield with Crows, all reinterpreted across classic BAPE silhouettes like the APE HEAD T-shirt and the Shark Hoodie. The garments don’t just borrow visuals—they integrate elements of Impressionism and feature excerpts from Van Gogh’s letters to his brother Theo, lending the drop a deeply personal and emotional dimension.

Launching on May 31st, the collaboration stands as a bold intersection of fine art and fashion, inviting wearers to engage with Van Gogh’s legacy in an unexpected, wearable form.
