After a five-year wait, New Balance is bringing back one of its most coveted silhouettes—the Made in USA 1300JP—just in time to align with this year’s Grey Days celebrations. Scheduled for a 2025 remaster, this drop continues the legacy of a model considered a cornerstone of the Boston-based brand’s heritage line.
First released in 1985, the 1300JP was a game-changer, redefining the boundaries of luxury performance footwear. It earned its reputation not just for its unrivalled craftsmanship, but also for the way it elevated the running shoe into a premium design object, influencing an entire generation of brands and designers.
This edition stays true to the original with its blend of technological innovation and high-end materials, constructed in premium suede and nubuck with a rich upper palette of green, blue, and grey. Beneath the surface, full-length ENCAP cushioning ensures elevated comfort and performance. And with its Made in USA label, each pair is meticulously crafted at New Balance’s Skowhegan, Maine facility, exemplifying a level of attention to detail and manufacturing expertise rarely seen in the current sneaker landscape.
The New Balance Made in USA 1300JP, will be available from May 29 onwards, on New Balance online, flagship stores, and select retailers.
