BEAMS Plus and Studio Nicholson have joined forces to release a capsule collection that bridges Japanese artisan heritage with British tailoring discipline. The collaboration spans 19 pieces, drawing inspiration from 1960s and 1970s cinema, resulting in a timeless wardrobe built on refined craftsmanship and cultural dialogue.

The collection elevates tailoring, reintroducing signature silhouettes like the PETER trench coat and the PAUL blazer, both detailed with hand-stitched wool and gold buttons that highlight artisanal finishing. Standout designs include the ALVY trousers, a double-pleated cut offered in textured fabrics and corduroy options, adding depth to the line’s material exploration.

Balancing formality with ease, the capsule also introduces relaxed-fit oxford shirts and tailored jeans, pieces that blur the boundaries between casualwear and classic menswear.

The launch unfolds across two cities: London on September 18 and Tokyo on September 19, underscoring the collaboration’s transnational vision.
