The multiyear collaboration between Stüssy and Tekla returns for 2025, and this time it arrives with a more direct nod to the California coast than ever before. Blending Tekla’s expertise in high-quality bedding with Stüssy’s surf-rooted streetwear identity, the new collection draws inspiration from an iconic staple in any surfer’s wardrobe: the checkered flannel shirt.

Known for its minimalist and understated design language, Tekla steps out of its comfort zone for this release, embracing unexpected patterns and bolder color palettes. The bedding, traditionally rendered in soft pastels and subtle stripes, now features designs that echo Stüssy’s graphic irreverence—including floral prints and a standout version in amber yellow.
At the heart of the capsule is a bed set inspired by the classic flannel shirt, merging the laid-back luxury of Scandinavian design with the rebellious energy of California’s surf culture. The result is a collection that feels at once playful, textural, and deeply collaborative, expanding both brands’ visual worlds.

This marks the third joint collection between the two labels, continuing a steady rhythm of creative partnerships. For Tekla, this follows recent collaborations with AURALEE and Birkenstock, while Stüssy continues to grow its lifestyle offering, reaching far beyond clothing into the realm of design-forward home goods.
The collection launches on June 6 via both brands’ online stores, cementing the evolving dialogue between fashion and interiors, and between heritage and reinvention.
