Casablanca FW24: Where Ancient Greece Meets the Future

Charaf Tajer’s Casablanca paints a surrealist tapestry, where the echoes of ancient Greece reverberate through a futuristic lens. A cinematic odyssey directed by Frédéric de Pontcharra, the campaign is a metaphysical journey from Homer’s epic to Kubrick’s cosmic vistas. Eleusis, the cradle of mysteries, serves as a muse, infusing the collection with a spiritual aura. Models, transformed into ethereal beings, traverse Athenian avenues and celestial landscapes, echoing the transformative rites of the Eleusinian mysteries.

A sonic echo of the 90s, Björk’s “Venus as a Boy” becomes the soundtrack to this cosmic ballet. For Tajer, her lyrics are a siren song, mirroring his ceaseless pursuit of beauty and wonder. The FW24 collection is a chromatic symphony, where structured forms dance with ethereal elements. Gradient coats, celestial in hue, share the stage with marbled turtlenecks and angelic varsity jackets. A palette of oceanic blues, verdant greens, and metallic accents creates a celestial atmosphere, while elevated tracksuits and translucent tenniswear redefine sportswear elegance. Casablanca’s vision is a constellation of past, present, and future, a sartorial odyssey where myth and modernity intertwine.
