This dynamic duo is set to unveil a limited-edition tapestry masterpiece, titled “Paysage d’Intérieur (printemps)” (2024), available exclusively on avantarte.com from December 11th, 2024.
Only 50 pieces of this exquisite tapestry will be available, each meticulously woven with over 410,000 stitches. The artwork embodies an evolution of Tabouret’s renowned “fluff” paintings. These abstract works, characterized by bold strokes juxtaposed against verdant landscapes reminiscent of Post-Impressionism, find a new life in tapestry form. Here, Claire masterfully reimagines her textured canvas with a captivating palette of 20 colors, ranging from vibrant lemon yellow to the calming depths of sea green and electric blue.
Every element, from the meticulously spun threads to the carefully crafted fabric and frame, pays homage to the rich heritage of artisanal French textiles. Each tapestry is meticulously assembled in Lyon, the birthplace of this revered art form.
Each “Paysage d’Intérieur (printemps)” arrives exquisitely mounted in a bespoke, unglazed oak frame. Measuring 52.40cm (H) x 34.70cm (W) x 5.00cm (D), these limited-edition pieces are signed by the artist on the back of the frame and individually numbered. With a price of €4000.00 (approx. $4220.00), the limited pieces will be available, starting December 11th, 2024, exclusively on avantarte.com.
