Dover Street Market—the influential retail concept helmed by Rei Kawakubo of COMME des GARÇONS and Adrian Joffe—is turning a new page, announcing the launch of its first-ever in-house label. The debut collection will make its official entrance during Paris Fashion Week, signaling a bold expansion for one of fashion’s most experimental spaces.

At the creative helm is Kei Ninomiya, the visionary behind Noir Kei Ninomiya and longtime Kawakubo protégé. Though best known for his sculptural, avant-garde designs, Ninomiya is expected to pivot creatively for this inaugural DSM collection—focusing instead on everyday pieces rich in subtle symbolism and quiet detail, laying the groundwork for a new, shared visual language under the Dover Street Market umbrella.

According to Joffe, the brand will not remain under a single creative hand. Future collections are set to invite a rotating roster of designers, each offering their unique perspective while operating within the conceptual framework of DSM’s distinctive universe.

With this move, Dover Street Market doesn’t just evolve—it becomes a platform for original expression, bridging its curatorial ethos with a new, wearable chapter in design.
