Ford has been in the lab cooking up a number of updates to their supercar; Ford GT.
The upgrade can be seen by Ford now lifting the power of their 3.5 liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine, so it now boasts 660 horsepower. That means that there are 13 new horses being pulled through the system.
Ford has also decided to improve the engine cooling, by a number of new air intakes increase cooling by up to 50%.
In addition Ford Performance has decided to run the Titanium exhaust system from Akrapovi? to standard equipment.
The updated Ford GT comes in two new colors, one called Liquid Carbon, which goes all-in on the carbon fiber look, leaving the lightweight material, usually hidden under a few layers of lacquer, to stand completely free – just with a coat of clear varnish.
In addition, the iconic Le Mans edition, with the classic Gulf logos, has also been updated.
Ford has already begun the delivery of the upgraded 2020 Ford GT, and production is scheduled to run until 2022.
