Salomon and JEONG LI have officially teamed up to pay tribute to one of Salomon’s most iconic silhouettes — the XA Pro 3D. Once a staple on rugged trails, the shoe has since crossed over into the world of editorial fashion, becoming a recurring figure in JEONG LI’s visual language. Their latest collaborative reinterpretation marks a continuation of a dialogue years in the making — one that now lands at the intersection of performance design and conceptual storytelling.

The collection meditates on the passage of time, with a multi-layered construction that mirrors the textured complexity of aged canvases. Each layer — both in material and color palette — tells a story of evolution, a visual metaphor for how ideas, like shoes, morph through history. Subtle design cues like a cliff-inspired upper, delicate floral detailing, and fossil-engraved outsoles root the sneaker in nature’s timeline, elevating it beyond a simple reissue.

Technically, the pair stays true to its trail-running DNA with Salomon’s QuickLace system, Sensifit™ technology, and the brand’s renowned 3D Advanced Chassis for support and stability. Inside, a co-branded insole stamp marks the fusion of both identities — a literal step forward in their growing relationship.

Release Date: Wednesday, July 2 via Salomon and JEONG LI’s online stores.
For those attending Paris Fashion Week, the sneaker will be previewed early on June 25 at Salomon’s Le Marais store.
