Our Legacy WORK SHOP Makes Summer Clothes Feel Salvaged, Sun-Bleached, and Alive

There is a particular kind of summer dressing that only works when it looks like it has already lived several lives. Not clean resortwear. Not technical beach uniform. Something looser, stranger, and more worn-in, as if the clothes have been pulled from a half-forgotten archive and left to fade in the sun.

That is where Our Legacy WORK SHOP feels most at home. The experimental arm of Our Legacy has built its identity around deadstock fabrics, leftover garments, recycled materials, washes, treatments, and small acts of reconstruction. Instead of treating sustainability as a slogan, WORK SHOP turns it into a design language: things are reused, distorted, overdyed, aged, and sent back into the world with new lives.

Its new capsule, Natura, is made up of 18 pieces designed for summer, with the kind of practical, off-duty wardrobe that feels better the less perfect it becomes. The collection leans into familiar pieces: graphic T-shirtslong-sleeve tops, and work shirts, all orbiting that Our Legacy mood of casualness with a slightly haunted edge.

The headline object is a new take on the Converse Chuck 70, released in a very limited run. Rather than making the sneaker look box-fresh, WORK SHOP pushes it in the opposite direction, bringing back the original silhouette and distressing the canvas until it feels like it has already crossed cities, beaches, pavements, and long summer nights.

There are also pieces for the colder edges of the season: the Hangar jacket and a light anorak, both built for those strange in-between hours when summer suddenly stops behaving like summer. The collection’s most forward-looking detail might be the Work Shop bag, made from mycelium leather and sized for a weekend escape.
