This fall, sacai and Carhartt WIP—one of fashion’s most defining duos—unveil a new collaborative collection that thrives on the tension between utilitarian function and experimental design.
The 19-piece lineup fuses Carhartt WIP’s workwear DNA with sacai’s hybrid sensibility, resulting in garments that blur tradition and innovation. Standout pieces include a Detroit jacket reworked with sacai’s quilted design, combining interior insulation and down stitching with an exterior canvas shell, and a cropped leather biker jacket with an asymmetric zip, delivering a subversive twist on a classic silhouette.
The canvas treatments are washed to achieve softness and a patina of wear, underscoring the lived-in aesthetic that grounds the collection’s experimentation. Each piece is finished with a square co-branded label, serving as an immediate marker of the collaboration’s identity.
The collection will launch globally on October 3 across sacai and Carhartt WIP’s online and physical stores, with early access in Asia on October 2, reflecting the partnership’s international reach.
