The South Korean capital has announced its plans to construct the world’s largest leverless Ferris wheel, which will be named the Seoul Ring. The Ferris wheel will be situated in Haneul Park, selected for its panoramic views, accessibility, and proximity to various tourist destinations in the city.
The Ferris wheel’s cabins will move without the aid of radios, making it a technological marvel. It will stand at a towering height of 180 meters and house 36 carriages that can accommodate up to 25 individuals each. Furthermore, the Seoul Ring will operate entirely on renewable energy.
The project is scheduled to begin construction in June 2025, with completion anticipated by December 2027.
