Ny based clothing brand Awake NY and LA based BornxRaised has teamed up for a collection inspired by the culture of both coasts. It consists of co-branded t-shirts and hoodies, chore coats, double knee work pants and pocket tees, all pieces created in collaboration with Carhartt WIP, which both Awake NY and BornxRaised have previously worked with.
“I respect the work Spanto and 2Tone [the founders of BxR] do to support local Los Angeles culture, and we take a similar approach to New York communities through Awake NY.”
“Given that this collection extends to both coasts, there will be two parts. 100% of the proceeds from the co-branded Carhartt WIP Pocket T will be divided and donated to the non-profit organization New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) of New York and NELA United for Students of Los Angeles ”.
