Splicing X-Men villain lore with carbon-fiber panels, automotive Shox cushioning, and custom bolt washers, the London powerhouse delivers another subversive footwear strike.

Continuing to build their own unmistakable subcultural cinematic universe, Corteiz and Nike are back with a follow-up to their collaborative onslaught. Hot on the heels of the “Silver Surfer” reveal, the dynamic duo has officially unveiled the Shox R419 ‘Mystique’—a silhouette directly inspired by the shape-shifting Marvel mutant.

Built on Nike’s iconic pillar-cushioned Shox sole, the sneaker breaks conventional design boundaries with ridged forefoot overlays, carbon-fiber-inspired panels, and a transparent rear window revealing hidden R419 branding. Signature Corteiz detailing runs throughout, including a red “C” tongue hit, engine-themed sockliner art, and a custom-branded bolt washer packaged with every pair. The release is anchored by a matching technical tracksuit featuring contrast mesh paneling and a futuristic interior print.

The collection will drop alongside an expansive technical apparel capsule via R419.com.
