Kim Jones Steps Down from Dior Homme

    by OVERSTANDARD February 3, 2025
    written by OVERSTANDARD

Kim Jones’ departure from Dior Homme after seven years marks the end of a transformative era for the brand. His final show hinted at the farewell, a sentiment now confirmed with the announcement of his departure. Jones leaves behind a legacy of redefining men’s fashion, skillfully blending Dior’s heritage with a distinctly contemporary vision. He masterfully navigated the balance between classic elegance and avant-garde design, creating collections that sparked a dialogue between the past and the future. His influence extended beyond the runway, forging impactful collaborations with artists and cultural figures like Daniel Arsham, KAWS, Lewis Hamilton, ERL, Travis Scott, RIMOWA, and Stone Island. These partnerships not only enriched the brand’s creative output but also solidified Dior’s position at the forefront of contemporary culture. Jones’ tenure will be remembered for its innovative approach to menswear and its significant contribution to shaping Dior’s modern identity.

“It has been a true honor to have been able to create my collections within the House of Dior, a symbol of absolute excellence. I express my deep gratitude to my studio and the ateliers that have accompanied me on this wonderful journey. They have brought my creations to life. I also take this opportunity to thank the artists and friends that I have met through my collaborations. Finally, I feel sincere gratitude towards Bernard and Delphine Arnault, who have given me their full support.”
