REESE COOPER, who recently presented their newest project-based collection called, “RCI Reserve“, have teamed up with Merrell and their exclusive outdoor footwear line 1TRL, who presented an updated version of the 1TRL Moab Speed GTX Zip, a couple of weeks ago.
“RCI Reserve is short for the REESE COOPER® Reserve Program. It’s a new but ongoing project where, in simple terms, we upcycle everything we’ve been keeping in the office for the past few years into new garments. With every season comes sampling and production–both cycles result in some leftover materials. This can be fabrics, linings, snaps, zippers, ribbing, eyelets, screens, yarns, cording… the list goes on. Over the past 5 or so years we’ve made it a point to not throw anything out with the goal of finding it a home later down the road.”

To kick off an on-going partnership, REESE COOPER will release limited pairs of the collaboration with Merrell, which has been ongoing since Spring/Summer 22, and will kick off with the release of 3 silhouettes in 2 colourways each: MTL MQM, MTL Long Sky 2 & Hydro Runner. Further styles with Merrell 1TRL will continue to release throughout the year.

Reese Cooper will launch their limited pairs today, FRIDAY 24, exclusively on the Reese Cooper website.
THURSDAY 2 MARCH is the release date for the 1 TRL ecommerce DTC, which will be available on the Merrell website, and selected global wholesale partners.
