For Fall/Winter 2025, The North Face launches its first global collection, introducing a fresh vision that fuses sport, exploration, and cultural storytelling. At the core of this release is HKe, a project that doesn’t just focus on performance gear but expands into a wider narrative about how functional design interacts with everyday life.
The highlight of HKe is the unveiling of SPECTRA, a groundbreaking fiber known for its rare combination of lightnessand extreme durability. This innovation comes to life in standout pieces such as the HKe Devils Thumb GTX Jacketand the Kalix Down Hoodie. Both garments embody the brand’s ongoing pursuit of protection, use of recycled materials, and a design language that transitions seamlessly from the outdoors to urban settings.
To extend the narrative, The North Face partnered with Johannes Offerhaus, who used the new fabric to craft a sculpture. He then carried this piece into a remote landscape, presenting it as an installation that questioned the relationship between art and nature. By ensuring the environment remained untouched, the project emphasized a vision of creative expression that leaves no trace while reinforcing the brand’s ethos of sustainability and exploration without harm.
