Iceland’s iconic outerwear brand66°North, is celebrating its 99th anniversary with a limited-edition “99-Year Capsule” collection — a nod to nearly a century of weather-tested resilience and northern style. The capsule features eight pieces, headlined by two of the brand’s most beloved jackets: the Snæfell and Vatnajökull, each limited to just 99 units worldwide.

For the first time ever, 66°North is flipping its logo, turning 66 into 99, marking the moment with a visual twist as bold as the Arctic winds the gear is built to withstand. The Vatnajökull jacket returns in black with red stitching, featuring Polartec’s Power Shield Pro for lightweight, breathable protection, while the Snæfell arrives in “Walrus” and “Black”, made from NeoShell fabric that’s windproof and waterproof up to 10,000 mm, with a swivel hood designed to track your head and preserve peripheral vision.

Rounding out the collection: an updated Dyngja hoodie, a minimalist tee, and Snæfell trousers in all-black with anniversary branding. The accompanying campaign, shot by Reykjavík-based photographer Anna Maggy, enlists locals rather than models, capturing “real people in real moments” as a tribute to the generations that shaped the brand.
