For Spring/Summer 2026, Sacai returns with its signature remix philosophy, this time reconstructing Carhartt WIP’sblue-collar staples into high-concept hybrids that blur the line between workwear and luxury. True to form, Chitose Abeonce again turns the ordinary into the uncanny — think double-knee carpenter pants ballooned into sculptural silhouettes and chore coats reimagined as razor-sharp tailored blazers.
This isn’t the first time Sacai has taken a scalpel to Carhartt classics — the label previously pleated their rugged dungarees into dresses — but SS26 hits differently. Everything feels cleaner, more confident, more exaggerated. Oversized trousers arc dramatically around the leg, while trim jackets hold tension between the practical and the polished. A bomber jacket stitched from chore coat DNA, T-shirts rigged with hoodie-style zippered pockets — it’s all part of Abe’s patchwork poetry.
And while the Carhartt x Sacai capsule is the beating heart of the collection, it’s surrounded by a full cast of unorthodox tailoring, exaggerated blazers, and oversized legwear that define Sacai’s broader SS26 vision.
This is workwear, deconstructed and dreamt anew — utility gear for the avant-garde.
