Daniel Arsham is back with another Porsche project. This time, the duo completely overhauled a 1986 930 Turbo.

The exterior of the car is painted white with tonal black racing vinyls, including those from Arsham Studio and Dior. The Fuchs wheels, produced by Fifteen52’s Matt Crooke, contain a scratched Arsham Studio monogram that pays homage to the iconic 1974 RSR magnesium alloy wheels.

As for the interior, the car is equipped with two-tone stonewashed canvas from Objects For Living and premium Italian leather from Porsche. Additionally, the upholstery is complemented by a custom leather Porsche-Arsham steering wheel and aluminum door frames. The handcrafted and hand-painted gauges on the dash pick up design cues from the Japan-made 930s.

The project took two years of research, development and production.

Every aspect of the car was personalized. The hand-painted exterior by Deathspray is heavily influenced by the 1980 935 K3 sponsored by Apple Computers. The turbocharged engine and transmission were pulled out and completely rebuilt. In addition to increasing the bore size in the pistons and powder coating of select parts in Arsham Studio green, the 930A engine was expertly restored to factory settings. There are many more stories and details to share about the 930A that I will be engaging with this week!
