Moncler, through its Genius platform—launched in 2018 to spotlight creative collaborations—has tapped A$AP Rocky and his collective AWGE for a capsule collection that bridges heritage and contemporary culture.
Drawing inspiration from vintage ski archives, the line reinterprets alpine codes with bold color blocking in lava reds, electric blues, and emerald greens. Beyond aesthetics, the collection emphasizes utilitarian design, featuring layered waistbands and multi-tiered trousers engineered for all-weather versatility. The garments also integrate graphic references to Rocky’s upcoming album, DON’T BE DUMB, merging fashion with music’s cultural anticipation.
The campaign, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, unfolds in a blackout setting where the garments’ saturated tonesand reflective surfaces dominate the visual field. An accompanying audiovisual piece by Dan Streit expands on Rocky’s creative universe, tying the capsule to his broader artistic identity.
This collaboration positions Moncler Genius once again at the intersection of luxury and cultural zeitgeist, with Rocky injecting both personal vision and future-facing energy into the Italian house’s collaborative legacy.
