Approximately one year has passed since the initial collaborative venture of Carhartt and New Balance, when they introduced their inaugural silhouette on the 990v1 silhouette. Fast forward to the present, they have embarked on a new collaboration, this time opting for the most recent iteration of the model, the v6.
This model is a celebration of their shared legacy in the realm of utilitarian design. The 990v6 Made in USA, rugged yet refined, undergoes a transformation, taking on Carhartt WIP’s distinctive Hamilton Brown hue. This rich shade appears not only in the supple pigskin suede overlays but also in the synthetic underlayers. Adding a striking contrast, a military green tone is prominently featured in the “N” logo, while various tonal nuances envelop the mesh layers, inner lining, and the FuelCell midsole.
The global release is scheduled for October 20th and will be available on the New Balance and Carhartt-Wip websites, as well as in carefully selected retail outlets.
