Artura is the latest star in a long line of supercars at the McLaren house. It also marks a new chapter for the legendary British car manufactor. Artura is the first series-produced supercar with plug-in technology, and while the plug-in technology makes it possible to drive smaller distances without using fossil fuel, it should probably be seen more closely as a supplement to the car’s sprint distances. The range of the battery alone us up to 30 kilometers. Despite the range, it’s the most fuel-efficient McLaren ever.

With a weight of 1498 kilos, it can go 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 8.3 seconds

The accelerations are achieved by combining the 3.0 liter V6 engine, which alone has 585 horsepower – which is boosted by a 95 hp powerful electric engine. The top speed is 330 km/h, where it hits the electronic limit.

The starting price on the McLaren Artura is $225,000 dollars and is available for purchase now on the McLaren website.
