Ny based clothing brand Noah has teamed up with UK based Lavenham, for a collection of quilted jackets and gillets.

Founded in 1969, in Suffolk, England, Lavenham has specialized in quilted jackets, and they produced the world’s first quilted nylon horse rug. Since the very beginning, the Lavenham batting has been made from 65% recycled fibers.

From Noah they recount the importance of working with committed brands: ¨There are many brands that could make puffer jackets, but Lavenham makes the quintessential puffer jacket, and it was important for us to partner with them to reinvent their signature outerwear. We chose the Denham—originally designed for horseback riding, but also the kind of piece you’d see elegant women wearing riding boots at the grocery store—and swapped it out with a denim with contrast stitching. We also reinterpret the padded crew neck with hints of ’80s American sportswear.

The Noah x Lavenham collection will be available from March 9, on the Noah website.
