One of the rarest Pokémon cards of them all. The Pikachu Illustrator Holo, from 1998, recently sold for a record breaking $900,000, to an anonymous buyer at Goldin auctions. The previous record for a Pokémon card was held at $375,000.

Apparently there’s only 40 of the Pikachu Illustrator Holo card’s, known to exist, and this one was a PSA “Near Mint 7” grade, which explains the record breaking price tag.

The Illustrator Pikachu was originally distributed through a couple of drawing competitions in 1997 and 1998, making them super rare, since you could only win them and not buy them.
