For Fall/Winter 2025ROA pushes outdoor fashion into uncanny terrain. Captured by photographer Bella Newman, the campaign trades picturesque landscapes for a spectral, infrared world—a vision where heat becomes the only light. Filmed within the swamps and caverns of the southern Appalachians, the imagery unfolds like a survivalist dream: explorers appear hunted, their skin ghostly, their eyes black hollows, as if nature itself were observing them. The result is both eerie and sublime, transforming the idea of performance wear into something primal, cinematic, and deeply psychological.

This visual narrative mirrors the spirit of the ROA FW25 collection, which blurs the lines between technical innovation and modern ritual. The brand’s hallmark mountain functionality is reinterpreted through an urban lens, with oversized, modular outerwear—boxy parkas with expandable backs, adjustable fastenings, and layered hoods—contrasted against second-skin silhouettes like compression leggings and semi-sheer mesh dresses. Each design speaks to adaptability, a tension between armor and exposure.

Function lies at the core of the collection, yet every detail carries artistic intent: laser-cut ventilation systemsthumbhole sleeves, and transformable fits coexist with materials that merge craft and scienceorganic cottonsolvent-free waterproofing, and mohair mélanges infused with Fair Isle motifs remade for performance. ROA’s universe feels both engineered and ancient, where alpine pragmatism meets metaphysical design.

Set for release on October 23.
