    Merrell 1TRL SS23 “My Trail”

After having teamed up with REESE COOPER and presented the Moab Speed GTX Zip, back in February, American High-performance shoe manufactorer, Merrell, has unveiled its Spring / Summer 2023 campaign called “My Trail”, inspired by inner and outer city life.

The campaign was created in collaboration with photographer and collagist Elena Cremona. The result is a look that stays true to the brands manifesto, and features creative advocates navigating through urban and rural landscapes, showcasing their individual paths that symbolize the perfect blend. Cremona’s work serves as an insightful visual diary, highlighting the unique experiences of those who blur the lines between city and nature and how Merrell 1TRL’s SS23 line can aid their journey.

“To me, there is no predictability in choosing your own path. We as humans waver, and we want to feel secure in changing our minds, yet feeling grounded in who we are/ what we wear.”

    – Elena Cremona

The SS23 collection embodies the spirit of trailblazing, and Cremona’s work captures this philosophy through movement. The product line offers a range of outdoor footwear designed to equip those who explore the fringes for their chosen path, be it urban or rural.

Elena’s photography style is characterized by a serene and mindful approach, capturing stories of connection between community, nature, and self. Her images beautifully reflect a sense of tenderness, confidence, and genuineness.
