    Levi’s x Gundam SEED

Since its inception in 1979, the Mobile Suit Gundam series has evolved, weaving intricate narratives and introducing captivating characters into the expansive Gundam universe. Nestled within a futuristic realm, where Earth grapples with conflicts between space colonies and the Earth Federation, the franchise delves into themes of technology, the human experience, and beyond. In a fusion of globalized warfare and the imaginative science fiction inherent in Gundam, Levi’s® forges an unprecedented collaboration with the TV franchise, birthing a collection that marries futurism with functionality.

Central to the Gundam narrative are humanoid machines controlled by skilled pilots. The Levi’s® x Gundam SEED collection captures the otherworldly allure of these mobile suits, embodying the ongoing clash of ideologies. Pioneering this collaboration are the Levi’s® x Gundam SEED ’93 501® jeans and the accompanying Relaxed Trucker. Crafted from indigo denim with a subtle stonewashed finish, both the jeans and jacket showcase prints inspired by the Strike Gundam, adorned with a blue jacron back patch and a co-branded insignia.

The Levi’s® x Gundam SEED Technical Anorak jacket takes a square and slightly fitted form, featuring silver piping, oversized chest pockets, back tie straps, and a striking GAT-X105 Strike Gundam graphic on the rear. Paired seamlessly with the Cargo trousers, which boast matching piping and co-branded Gundam patches on cargo and back pockets.

Expanding the collection, the Boxy Tee emerges in Starbright White and Destruction Black, while the light grey Rugby boasts a black cotton twill collar and a captivating Strike Gundam print. The dark blue long sleeve tee showcases a ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam print on the back, enhanced by reflective prints. Finally, a red hoodie steals the spotlight with a GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam print on the central chest and a jacquard patch.

Rounding out the lineup are a series of functional accessories, each echoing the Gundam SEED ethos: the Gundam SEED harness bag in a fusion of nylon and denim, the versatile Gundam SEED Accent Pouch that attaches seamlessly to bags and trousers, and the Gundam SEED Utility Hat. Drawing inspiration from Gundam’s futuristic visions, many pieces in the collection seamlessly merge a distinctive utilitarian element with an avant-garde aesthetic.
