VETEMENTS takes an avant-garde leap in its latest avant-garde showcase, challenging the norms of both the fashion industry and capitalist ideologies. The unveiling occurred at the iconic Rue Cambon in Paris, marking the brand’s momentous tenth-year milestone. A constellation of global art luminaries graced the event, including the likes of Julia Fox, J Balvin, Sita Abellán, Cher, Eladio Carrión, and Michèle Lamy, among an eclectic array of others, all converging to partake in this unprecedented affair. Yet, the spotlight extended beyond the expected luminaries. The resplendent crimson runway hosted an ensemble of unconventional stars. Georgina Rodríguez stole the gaze, adorning a bespoke creation that sparked fervent discussions—a sweeping gown, an homage to the jersey Cristiano Ronaldo once sported during his Manchester United days. A singular masterpiece, exclusively crafted and dedicated to her by the football luminary himself. Anwar Hadid, sibling to the famed Hadid sisters, showcased the tongue-in-cheek ‘Not Mom’s Favorite’ tee, injecting wit into the sartorial narrative. Bringing the spectacle to its zenith, Marcia Cross graced the finale in a dazzling scarlet gown adorned with glinting rhinestones, effortlessly captivating the rapt attention of the audience.
