This release marks the fourth installment in Timberland’s Future73 project, representing the ongoing collaboration between Timberland and A-Cold-Wall, led by its founder, Samuel Ross. The launch introduces a fresh perspective to iconic pieces, such as the reimagined Premium 6-Inch boot and the redesigned Heritage 3-Eye Lug boat shoe. These innovations are accompanied by a selection of new clothing items.
Building upon the foundation established by the initial capsule in the collection, Ross’s reinterpretation of Timberland’s classic symbols takes center stage with the introduction of the Premium 6-Inch Zip Boot. Meticulously crafted from high-quality black leather, this version boasts a sleek, minimalist design. Its features include a convenient zipper closure and a lug sole that ensures improved traction. Additionally, Ross has undertaken the redesign of the 3-Eye Lug boat shoe, presenting it in a captivating sapphire black hue complete with a durable Gore-Tex sole.
A celebration of “imperfection” and the art of craftsmanship is infused throughout the manufacturing process. This artistic journey encompasses distressing the leather to create a visually commanding effect and employing screen-printing techniques. The unique touch extends to pieces like the Chore coat, where manual hand-painting with an array of pigments results in one-of-a-kind garments. The collection’s breadth is further enriched with offerings such as the quilted vest and cargo pants in a versatile “Black,” the overshirt showcasing a distinctive “Rus Oxide” shade, the sweatshirt available in both “Forged Iron” and “Volt Blue” tones, and the finely knitted sweater in a soothing
