In anticipation of World Emoji Day (July 17), Emojipedia has introduced new emojis that could be part of Unicode 14.0, an update that has been delayed due to the pandemic.
The emojis focus on diversity and inclusion, just like the previous one from May. Highlight: The x-ray, the melting smiley face, the peeking face, the troll, the nests, the disco ball, the face that contains tears and the bite of the lips, as well as the other figures of hands available in different skin tones.
Also, if you are a fan of emojis, you should know that an Adobe study has determined the five favorite emojis of Generation Z are 😂 (# 1), ❤️ (# 2), 🥺 (# 3), 😭 (# 4) , 🥰 (# 5) and as ramdon data, the three most misinterpreted emoji globally are (# 1), 🍑 (# 2) and 🤡 (# 3). Also that 93% of our Generation Z are sure to be up to date on the meaning of the latest emojis.
So stay tuned, Unicode 14.0 emojis will be released later this year or early 2022.
