White Mountaineering is stepping into the future with the launch of its new unisex knitwear line, titled ‘WAIR’, set to debut in Spring/Summer 2026. The collection leans into the technological elegance of seamless design, delivering eleven versatile styles engineered for both movement and mindfulness.

Rooted in the utility of alpine gearseamless knitwear was originally favored by skiers for its ability to retain heat while resisting moisture and odor. Over time, the aesthetic and functionality of this performance wear migrated into the broader fashion zeitgeist, culminating in standout examples like Goldwin 0’s 2022 launch. There, designer Julia Rodowicz championed WHOLEGARMENT technology—a cutting-edge knitting method that eliminates seams to create garments with fluid silhouettes and ergonomic comfort.

WAIR follows in these footsteps, but with a distinctly urban pulse. The debut includes jackets, trousers, cut-and-sew tops, and shirts, all crafted with a focus on breathability, lightness, and adaptive fit. Garments are body-mapped, meaning areas requiring more movement and airflow—like underarms and backs—feature lighter knits. Trousers and bottoms are nearly seam-free, resulting in a relaxed silhouette that favors freedom over formality.

The collection is a nod to the changing priorities of contemporary wearers: those who demand comfort without compromise, and design that responds to the body, not just trends.

WAIR officially lands in February 2026 via White Mountaineering’s online store, with global stockists to be announced soon.
