From 2018 to 2020, Fortnite brought in $9 billion USD. And although it may seem like a very high amount, the information comes first-hand, thus reflected in one of the documents provided by Epic Games a few hours ago as evidence in the ongoing trial against Apple.

According to The Verge, the free battle royale game generated more than $5 billion dollars in 2018 alon. It’s true that it is not decided how much of this amount corresponds exclusively to Fortnite, but you can guess that it accounts for most of it. Other Epic Games, such as: Rocket League (108 million), Unreal Engine licenses (221 million) and Epic Games Store (235 million), also brought in big money to the company, but they are no way near Fortnite.

During the next few weeks of the trial, new data will continue to be disclosed, revealing figures that have never been shown before.
