It premieres alongside a short film inspired by KITH founder Ronnie Fieg‘s childhood, which takes us back to 1996 and puts Calvin Klein products in the background, almost as if they were the backbone of the story of a young man riding a bicycle around town, strolling through your favorite places or hanging out with friends.
Cass Bird-shot and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s campaign starring Gigi Hadid revives the Calvin Klein heyday of the 1990s. The shots are raw, direct, and a bit intimate, all while focusing on co-branded underwear.
The ‘Classic’ underwear includes a men’s boxer, a women’s bralette and a thong, all served in the signature shades of KITH or Calvin Klein, black, heather gray, white, ‘Shark’, ‘Woodrose’ and ‘Cinder’ . »The waistband of all garments is finished with KITH and Calvin Klein branding, Klein’s first shared, while the monogram on the former also appears on multiple pieces.
For the duo’s “Seasonal” collection, we found men’s color block underwear without a monogram, but branded in black, white, navy blue, “Scarab”, “Crimson” and “Ultramarine”. Mesh fabrics have been used for women’s seasonal products, featuring asymmetrical, crossover back and double-band bralettes. The collection is completed by a range of unisex t-shirts, combining the CK logo with that of KITH.
The entire collection will be launched from September 12 in KITH stores, as well as on the KITH website.
