In celebration of the collection’s debut, Fear of God has initiated a campaign under the artistic direction of its founder, Jerry Lorenzo, featuring captivating photography by Maria and Louise Thornfeldt. This campaign encapsulates the visual inspirations behind Jerry Lorenzo’s collection, encompassing architectural proportions, rich textures, and a worldly sophistication. The refined color palette and multi-dimensional fabrics, such as Fuzzy wool, cracked leather, and suede fringe, serve as a compelling counterpoint to the brand’s blend of architectural and relaxed silhouettes. In essence, it’s a synthesis that encapsulates Lorenzo’s vision for American luxury.
Simultaneously launched is the new short film, ‘Behind the Vision,’ offering an intimate look into Lorenzo’s creative process and his collaborative efforts to expand Collection 8 with his dedicated team. Documenting the designer’s personal experiences and reflections on U.S. culture that fueled the collection, this cinematic journey unfolds from his initial steps to the runway show, hinting at the promise of Fear of God’s enduring presence in the fashion landscape.
