Umbro returns with the second chapter of its “Northern Quarter” collection, a line that fuses archival sportswear heritage with the energy of Manchester’s contemporary style. For Fall/Winter 2025, the brand leans deeper into the DNA of its home city, channeling both football culture and the legendary Mancunian music scene.

Outerwear takes center stage with the Indie parka, reimagined in khaki and check variations, alongside the signature coach jacket, now refreshed with a fleece shell and an oversized Umbro diamond print. On the pitch-inspired front, a short-sleeved jersey nods to the 1996 Britpop Derby—a cultural clash between Blur and Oasis—through its light blue geometric patterns and tape-edged sleeves.

The collection also embraces rave-inspired graphics with a reversible crew top, offering Manchester United red on one side and minimalist black on the other. To round things off, a stream of monochrome hoodies and tees provide a versatile pairing for the collection’s statement jackets.

To capture the spirit of the city, Umbro’s campaign enlists local musicians Ellie, James, and Time Flies, who wear the pieces across iconic Manchester hangouts like Soup Kitchen, grounding the collection firmly in its community roots.

The Umbro FW25 “Northern Quarter” collection is now available via the brand’s website and select partner stockists.
