Stone Island and New Balance expand their ongoing collaboration with the launch of the 574 Ghost, a reimagined take on one of New Balance’s most iconic silhouettes. The drop fuses the minimalist and monochromatic DNA of Stone Island’s Ghost line with the timeless appeal of the 574 model.
The design follows the Ghost series ethos: a fully monochromatic sneaker rendered in suede across the upper, extending even to the midsole. By eliminating overlapping seams, the shoe achieves a seamless construction, with soft, sculpted volumes that avoid the look of pieced assembly. Added tongue and collar padding enhance comfort while maintaining the line’s understated aesthetic.
Details remain deliberately subtle. The “N” logo and heel counter are finished in a brushed texture, while the Stone Island compass appears on a felt tongue patch, paired with embossed “STONE ISLAND PRODUCT RESEARCH”lettering—marking the sneaker’s experimental, technical identity.
The 574 Ghost arrives in dark brown, dark grey, and navy blue, packaged in special-edition boxes for the release. The sneakers are available today via the Stone Island online store.
